Remote access surveys investigate hazardous or inaccessible voids both above and below ground without the need for surveyors to enter the space.
This service is designed for unsafe, structurally unstable, or confined spaces where conventional survey methods present unacceptable risk.
Surveys assess the voids’ size, depth, volume, and extent by capturing fully georeferenced 3D data, while video captures the condition of the space.
Depending on site conditions, the equipment we use includes the Elios 3 UAV for dry or wet environments, ROVIEW for submerged voids, or for dry voids, the Blue Ray ROV or Geoterra Rover. This equipment can move within the void, navigate corners, and survey up to 300 m from the entry point. All data is captured at ±2 cm resolution and ±3 cm accuracy.
